This is a custom conversion kit that includes a wheel and a set of axle spacers. This kit converts your messy Timken-style wheel bearings that came stock on the 1994-1999 Softail models to the new sealed roller bearings used on models after the year 2000.
The finish on this wheel is beautiful black powder coat on the rim, on the hub, and on the spokes, with chrome spoke nipples.
This wheel comes with a set of 3/4” sealed roller bearings installed, so it fits on your stock axle.
The kit comes with a set of our beautiful chrome-plated billet aluminum wheel spacers, and you must use these axle spacers when using this wheel on your 1994-1999 model.
Please note, this wheel will not work on your bike if you have a speedometer cable drive on your front axle.
This Fat Spoke wheel is intended to be used on Harley-Davidson Softail models when converting to a larger 21” wheel with either a 120/70-21 or 130/60-21 tire.
The wheel has a single disc front disc hub that will accept your stock brake rotor, or any aftermarket brake rotor intended for use on a Softail. For the optimal look, we highly recommend the use of our matching radial style rotors, available in our Store.
There is no need to change your stock front fender if you use a “fender lift bracket” to ensure adequate clearance of your fender over the larger tire. We make these brackets in either chrome or black for all years and models of Harley Softails, available in our Store.
