This wheel is intended to be used on Harley-Davidson Touring models – including Electra Glide, Road Glide, Street Glide, and Road King – when converting to a fat front 180/55-18 tire.
This wheel with a 180/55-18 tire will fit between your stock fork legs, so there is no need to change the fork legs when using a tire that does not exceed 7.25” in width when mounted on an 18 x 5.5 wheel. Examples are the Dunlop American Elite, Pirelli Night Dragon, or the new Metzeler 180/55-18 dedicated fat front tire.
A wide front fender and upper fork covers (cow bells) cut to accept the fat fender are required when using this wheel and fat 180 tire combination. These are available in our store as well.
This wheel comes with a set of 1” sealed roller bearings installed, for use on all Harley Touring models – including Electra Glide, Road Glide, Street Glide, and Road King – from the years 2000 to 2007 inclusive.
